Jared Leto is once again taking on another comic character role as Morbius the living vampire. Leto was previously cast as The Joker in Suicide Squad in the DC Universe and with Morbius, he crosses over to Marvel.
In an interview with Screenrant, the actor said he was excited to play Dr. Michael Morbius and that he was honored to bring a character to life for the first time on screen.
In a just released movie clip on December 5 (PH time), Leto transforms into his vampire form for the first time. Inflicted with a rare blood disorder, Morbius undergoes a dangerous experiment to find a cure. Instead, the darkness in him is unleashed and soon makes his deadly presence known. Morbius soon returns to “normal” but only time will tell if good can override evil or if he will give in to the darkness.
