Celebrity couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano marked another family milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony of their dream home over the weekend. On Instagram, Iya shared photos from the ceremony, with the caption, "Today was a special day. A first for our family. Thank you, Lord."

Present during the special day was Iya's mother and the couple's three children, Antonio Primo, Alonzo Leon, and Alana Lauren.

In the comments section of her posts, fans, friends, and fellow celebrities congratulated and expressed their happiness for the couple on their new milestone.

"Congratulations lovey!!!!!" said actress and It's Showtime host Anne Curtis.

"Wohoooo," wrote actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista.

"Sooo happy for you guys!!! Lezzzgooooo," added actress-host Camille Prats.

Others were Dimples Romana, Bianca Gonzalez, Pauleen Luna, Angelika dela Cruz, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Yasmien Kurdi, JC de Vera, Doug Kramer, and Isabel Oli.

The couple did not say where their dream family home will be built, although Drew had expressed interest in putting up a home in Rizal province.

"Definitely, I can see myself living there eventually," he said in an interview with PEP last year. "It's close to my house and it’s bikeable. And it's situated sa elevated area, you know what I mean?"

The TV host said he was convinced after he, Iya, and their kids went to the province for a short vacation.

"A couple of months ago, we went to an isolated place in Rizal. We kind of rented this farm for like three days," he said.

"And it is so nice to see them without masks, enjoying freely, getting some fresh air and everything."

Currently, the Arellano family lives in a condominium unit with Iya's mother and some family helpers.
