Gigi De Lana says singing will always be her number one love

As Gerald Anderson’s newest leading lady in the iQiyi original series Hello, Heart which premieres this month, singer Gigi De Lana clarified that this does not mean that her singing career will take a backseat.“Yes. It’s my first time doing this kasi nga puro kanta ako di ba? So talagang na-pressure ako. Pero alam ko naman na gagawin ko yung best dito sa project na ‘to. I will give my 100% para dito sa series na ‘to kasi nga kahit first time ko ‘to gagawin ko siyang parang hindi first time.“May halong pressure siyempre kasi ang kinalakihan ko talaga si pagkanta. Yun yung passion ko. Pero now na nakikilala ako ngayon as artista, siyempre it’s a big accomplishment for me. At saka gusto din ng nanay ko. I’m proud of myself kasi malayo ang singing tapos magiging artista ka kasi it’s very different. Kasi sa pag-aartista hindi naman ako kumakanta lang dun eh.
