Angeline Quinto said she considers her pregnancy as the best gift she could ever receive this holiday season.

This as she shared a photo of her positive pregnancy test on Instagram on Christmas Day, December 25.

"Merry Christmas," wrote Angeline in the caption. Baby on the way. Yahooo!"

In the comments section of her post, celebrities once again congratulated and expressed their happiness for the Kapamilya singer, including Zsa Zsa Padilla, Amy Perez, Karen Davila, Vina Morales, Geneva Cruz, Darren Espanto, Gretchen Ho, Ogie Alcasid, Maricar Reyes, John Prats, and Jed Madela.

It was early this month when Angeline, 32, confirmed that she is expecting her first child via an episode of the online talk show The Purple Chair Interview.

Talking to veteran host Boy Abunda, Angeline was asked about a recent Instagram post where she marked the start of a new chapter in her life.

“Kaya ko po na-post ‘yun dahil kay Mama Bob (her late mother) at pangalawa po kasi, magiging nanay na rin ako,” she said, confirming the pregnancy rumors.

Angeline admitted that she initially felt scared when she learned about her pregnancy back in September.

During the interview, Angeline also talked about her relationship with the father of her child, saying he isn't from show business and that they have been together for more than a year now.

Non-showbiz po,” she said.

Asked how she knew her partner is the one, Angeline said, “Ganoon pala ‘yun, parang alam mo agad… So before nawala ang mama [Bob], na-meet pa niya si Mama Bob.”

As for future wedding plans, Angeline said she isn't closing her doors, but stressed that her priority for now is her baby.

Siyempre in the future, kung ikakasal kami, siyempre papasalamat ako.”

Overall, Angeline, who is due to give birth in April, said she feels excited about this new blessing in her life.
