Jake Cuenca and the rest of the cast of Viral Scandal have wrapped up filming for the primetime series over a month since it aired on television.
On Instagram, Jake said he considers playing Troy Ramones on the show as a dream come true.
"It’s funny how we study rigorously for a role. Hours of studying, research, and rehearsing when no one else is watching but what’s funny is despite all the work we put in behind the scenes, this role and the journey of Troy has thought me so much more. So many valuable lessons that I have picked along the way and it’s something I will carry with me for the rest of my life," he said.
"Being mayor Troy Ramones was a pleasure and I had so much fun with it all the way 'til the end. This was truly an out-of-body experience for me and every actor can only dream of such an experience. Thank you for making that dream of mine come true," added Jake.
He also thanked the cast and crew of Viral Scandal, as well as those who supported the show.
"It takes a village. I am truly grateful to @rcdnarratives for this opportunity. Like I said before, we came in as strangers and now we have left as a family. I have the utmost love and respect for everyone in our set and I truly care for everyone in this show from the staff, talents to the production and of course our beautiful cast," he said.
"To all the fans who are watching our show, thank you for inspiring us to give our best day in and day out. We hold on to all your tweets and comments with so much value and we appreciate every single one of them. Thank you. We might be done filming but I can promise you so many more things are yet to come in our story and one thing is for sure, you won’t be able to predict what going to happen next," he added.
Viral Scandal began airing last November 15. It follows the story of Rica, a young woman who becomes a victim of a sex scandal.
The series is topbilled by Charlie Dizon, along with Jake, Dimples Romana and Joshua Garcia. It also includes Ria Atayde, Aljon Mendoza, Markus Paterson, Jameson Blake, Karina Bautista, and Vance Larena.
