Andi Eigenmann will be donating the earnings from her upcoming YouTube vlogs to help rebuild Siargao island.
In an Instagram post, Andi announced that she will be posting vlogs which were filmed right before Typhoon Odette struck the island.
"Our multiple vlog uploads for Christmas begins here, as we have promised. The following vlogs are our last videos taken on the island up to the time we arrived in Manila," she said in an Instagram post.
"On December 16, 2021, typhoon Odette hit Siargao island (and other neighboring islands and provinces) and devastated our island home," she added.
Andi said that the earnings from her vlogs will be donated to help Siargao get back on its feet.
"We are grateful that our family and friends are safe, but most of them have lost their homes and are in need of food, water, among others. With this, we will be using our earnings from our coming videos to help slowly rebuild our island home again," she said.
"Motindog ra ta pagbalik Siargao (Babangon tayo muli Siargao)," she said.
On December 22, Wednesday, Andi posted the vlog titled "Our Last Couple Days On The Island."
Typhoon Odette made its first landfall on Siargao on December 16, leaving devastation on the island.
Andi and her family were vacationing in Manila when the typhoon pummeled the island.
The actress has been calling the island her home alongside her partner Philmar Alipayo and their kids.
