Gerald Anderson donates drinking water and sacks of rice to victims of typhoon Odette

Gerald Anderson extended his help to the victims of Typhoon Odette via the Philippine Coast Guard. 

The Kapamilya actor personally handed his donations to PCG which include purified drinking water and sacks of rice. 

"MARAMING SALAMAT, AUXILIARY COMMANDER GERALD ANDERSON! Kahapon, ika-19 ng Disyembre 2021, personal na hinatid ni Auxiliary Commander Gerald Anderson ng Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) ang unang bahagi ng kanyang donasyon para sa apektadong pamilya ng Bagyong #OdettePH," PCG posted on its Facebook page. 


Gerald's donations were brought to Visayas and Mindanao which were heavily affected by the typhoon.


"Agad na isinakay ang saku-sakong bigas at kahung-kahong purified drinking water sa BRP Gabriela Silang (OPV-8301) na biyaheng Western Visayas at Northeastern Mindanao," PCG shared.

Gerald Anderson helps build Emergency Quarantine Facility

Typhoon Odette made landfall nine times in the Philippines affecting various parts of the country including Siargao, Southern Leyte, Cebu, Dinagat Islands, Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Palawan. 

It was in 2016 when Gerald became an auxiliary officer of the Philippine Coast Guard.
