Slater Young and Kryz Uy shared via social media the devastating effects that Typhoon Odette had on Cebu.
The couple shared snapshots and clips of various parts of Cebu heavily affected by the typhoon.
"We are safe. Cebu’s a mess. No power. No net. Just got signal. People are lining up for water, food, and gas. We have family members that lost their homes. Liteblock (his business) got looted. A lot of our employees are now homeless—using our factory as a temporary shelter for them. We’re trying to help out where we can. Praying for everyone," Slater posted on his Instagram page on Saturday, December 18.
Fallen trees and electrical posts blocking the roads can be seen in the clips shared by Slater on Instagram. People can also be seen lining up for basic necessities in the clips he posted.
Kryz also shared clips showing a glimpse of their home and their community in Cebu that were heavily plummeted by the typhoon.
