Even before getting married last month, Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado had already revealed that they had started constructing a new home which they bought together somewhere on the mountainside of Rizal. With their lot measuring more than a 1,000 square meters, the couple gave an update on the ongoing construction of their hideaway home which they shared is already 70% completed according to 8th episode of their "Hideaway" vlog uploaded last December 18 on their official YouTube channel.
—Jen and Dennis.”

In the vlog, Dennis narrated why they chose the specific location for one of their new homes as a couple.
Visiting the site exactly seven months since construction started, the couple showed updates on their new home with Dennis’s parents joining them during the visit.
While touring the interior of their container home, the couple showed that their ground floor contained the kitchen and dining area, as well as their living room and entertainment space plus a guest room. On the second floor, aside from their own bedroom, the couple allotted rooms for their sons Jazz (Jenylyn’s son with actor Patrick Garcia) and Calix (Dennis’s son with former beauty queen and actress Carlene Aguilar-Ocampo) as well as a nursery for the new baby.
Jennylyn and Dennis got married in a civil wedding on November 15. During their gender reveal party on November 26, the couple shared that they are expecting a baby girl next year.
