Kapamilya hunk actor Jake Cuenca was born in San Jose, Californa, and was raised in the Philippines.  

He is recognized as one of the most talented actors in the entertainment industry today.  

Let’s take a look back at how Jake Cuenca proved his talent as an actor.  


In 2007, he appeared as one of the supporting cast in the fantasy TV series Komiks Presents: Da Adventures of Pedro Panduko starring Matt Evans and Melissa Ricks.

He also played different roles for Maalaala Mo Kaya and Wansapanataym. 

The following year, he starred as Gian Carlo in the television drama series based on the classic Filipino comics titled Palos with Cesar Montano.  

After his Palos stint, he worked with Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson in the 2009 TV series Tayong Dalawa where he played the character of Dave.

Jake has already portrayed different roles for different series. In 2010, he once again appeared in TV series Rubi.  

In the Philippine adaptation of the Korean series Green Rose, Jake was chosen to represent the role of Edward Fuentabella.  

In 2012, he played two different roles in two Kapamilya teleseryes; he played the role of Paul for Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo, and Rafael for Kahit Puso’y Masugatan.  

Afterwards, he worked with Jessy Mendiola for the ABS-CBN primetime series Maria Mercedes. 

It was followed by another series titled Ikaw Lamang.  

In 2015, the Kapamilya hunk actor once again starred in another ABS-CBN show titled Pasion De Amor. 

Jake also became part of the longest running teleserye FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.  

He also starred in the TV series Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin, alongside Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson and Coleen Garcia.  

In the drama series The Blood Sisters, he played the role of Rocco.  

In 2018, he became one of the main cast members of the afternoon TV drama series Precious Hearts Romance Presents: Los Bastardos.  

After his Los Bastardos stint, he played a new role for the horror drama TV series The Haunted.  

Meanwhile, one of his projects last year was the TV series Walang Hanggang Paalam starring Paulo Avelino, Zanjoe Marudo, Arci Munoz, Angelica Panganiban, and JC Santos.  

Currently, Jake is part of the newest Kapamilya series Viral Scandal
