Right on the heels of her latest single “Don’t Go Changing” which recently reached over 2.1 million streams on the music streaming app Spotify, singer Ylona Garcia rocked the crowd as one of the acts at the Head in the Clouds music and arts festival held in Pasadena, California’s famous Rose Bowl stadium last November 6. Also in the lineup of artists was former K-pop group 2NE1 member CL. The festival streamed live throughout its two-day run via Twitch and Amazon Prime video. The event was organized by American music collective group 88Rising which officially signed up Ylona as an artist last February.
In her Instagram post after her performance, Ylona shared photos of her rocking a sexy red leather pantsuit while singing her latest single “Don’t Go Changing”. She wrote, “thank you vv much @88rising for giving me the opportunity to perform at the HITC3 festival with amazing people and for amazing people !!”
One of Ylona’s celebrity friends who went to see her perform live was Tommy Esguerra who took a short video clip of his fellow Pinoy Big Brother alumni which she also reposted on her own account. In his post, he wrote, “I don’t post anymore but just had to support @ylonagarcia at @88rising ‘s HITC #HeadtInTheClouds. Proud of you! #LA”
Among those who were the first to congratulate Ylona on the successful performance were AJ Rafael, Tommy Esguerra, JayR and wife Mica Javier who are also in the US.
ajrafael: Proud of you fam!!
tommyesguerra: Proud of you! Always have a Kuya in me!

Last month, Ylona marked another milestone in her career after being featured on a digital billboard in New York’s Times Square as one of the artists in the Equal global flagship playlist of the music streaming giant Spotify.
