Last year, Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo surprised their eldest child Yohan with a virtual party attended by her closest friends. This year was also equally memorable not just because it was her second birthday celebrated during the pandemic but because she was able to celebrate it surrounded by her loved ones.
Proud mom Juday, who first adopted Yohan when she was 26 and still single, penned a sweet post to the celebrator whom she has always been vocal about calling her “first love.”
On her Instagram account last November 8 she wrote, “17!!??? What???? No!!!! Oh my sweet baby love… my answered prayer, my twin in so many ways ( kahit ako nagugulat. ) it’s amazing how we saw you grow up and mature right before our very eyes.. you’re doing great my love… life can be tough and unforgiving.. but, don’t you worry my dear love. Mommy and Daddy will be behind you all the way. ( hanggang manabang ka! ) we love you so much sweetheart.. happy birthday, our forever baby girl. PS. next year.. pabaliktad na bilang natin ng edad mo ah! ”
In a previous interview, Juday talked about how her whole life changed once Yohan came along.
“I prayed for her. I asked the Lord in every single prayer, parati ako nagpupunta sa adoration chapel noong dalaga ako na, ‘Lord, sana kapag 26 na ako, magkaroon ako ng anak na babae. I don’t know kung bakit ang specific nung edad. Hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling, but at 26, I got Yohan. It changed my whole being,” she shared. Her husband Ryan legally adopted Yohan when they got married in 2009.
The couple also have two younger children, Lucio, 10, and Luna, who turned 5 last January.
