Joross Gamboa shared that he needs to undergo surgery due to his achilles injury.

On his Instagram page on Sunday, November 21, Joross shared a photo of himself in the hospital as he prepares for his operation.

"Getting ready for my Achilles operation! God bless everyone! Praying for a smooth operation and a quick recovery in Jesus Name! Labyu!" he posted.

According to webmd.com, the Achilles tendon "stretches from the bones of your heel to your calf muscles. It’s common for this tendon to get injured. It can be mild or moderate and feel like a burning pain or stiffness in that part of your leg. If the pain is severe, your Achilles tendon may be partly or completely torn."

On November 13, Joross shared via social media how he got injured. In an Instagram post, he relayed that he was playing basketball when it happened.

The actor relayed that it was the same time when he was not able to do stretching well prior to playing basketball.

Kaya sa inyong lahat magiingat kayo parati," he shared.

According to him, it will take around six months after the operation before he can fully recover.

Because of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior! Godbless everyone!" he shared.
