Former actress Nikki Gil and her husband, businessman BJ Albert, celebrated the fourth birthday of their eldest child, Finn.
The couple threw a Mario Kart-themed party at home which was attended by their family and a couple of their son's friends.
Photos from the celebration were shared by Nikki on her Instagram page over the weekend.
"Let the birthday festivities begin! Everything Mario Kart cos Finn is obsessed," she wrote.
Finn turned four last Friday, November 19.
On his actual birthday, Nikki took to social media to share a moving video dedicated to her son as she shared her touching message for him.
"Happy 4th Birthday to my sweet and silly boy, Finn. It was such a joy seeing him step into the role of big brother this year. Love you Manong!" she wrote.
Nikki, 36, recently gave birth to her and her husband's second child, Madeline Elle, or simply Maddie.
"Our little miss Madeline Elle arrived a few days ago and we’re completely smitten! Thank you Lord for our sweet Maddie," she wrote in her post in October, as she announced the birth of her daughter.
The former actress announced that she was pregnant with her second child last April.
Nikki and her husband have been married for six years now. The couple first met as schoolmates at the Ateneo de Manila University. They tied the knot in a garden ceremony in November 2015 at the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club in Laguna.
Shortly after settling down, Nikki decided to retire from show business.
In a previous interview with PUSH, the "Glowing Inside" singer said she has no regrets about stepping out of the limelight to live a quiet and normal life.
“I’m not missing it much yet (laughs). I’m happy with my quiet life. But I do miss work and the people that I used to work with. Of course I kind of grew up in the industry as well so I spent many years with the staff and my fellow artists. I miss the bond but I think I’ve enjoyed that season enough and I’m just enjoying my season now which is motherhood," she said.
Sharing how she's changed since becoming a mother, Nikki said: “As a mom I’m told I am maharot but I am also a disciplinarian. It’s very hard to gauge how much I’ve changed. But I guess my biggest change so far would have to be that I’m more conscious of time and more conscious of time wasted.
"That’s probably also why I’m not really feeling the desire to go back into showbiz. Because it’s a lot of time away from my baby and time away from the family which at the moment I’m not really willing to give up," she added.
