ABS-CBN teased on Wednesday, November 17, a new project starring some of its well-known talents, including Angelica Panganiban, JC de Vera, RK Bagatsing, dubbed The Goodbye Girl.
The project was revealed through a teaser image released by producer Dreamscape Entertainment of a virtual meeting with its cast and creative heads.
Aside from Angelica, JC, and RK, actors who attended the Zoom conference call were Barbie Imperial, Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, Elisse Joson, and Maris Racal.
Though not present, the ABS-CBN production unit confirmed that Josh Colet will also be part of the project.
Meanwhile, also in attendance during the meeting were musician Rico Blanco and director Derick Cabrido.
Dreamscape did not say whether The Goodbye Girl is a series or a film. It also didn't offer further details about the project—such as its story and release date—only teasing that it is coming soon.
Prior to The Goodbye Girl, it was already announced that Angelica will star in the upcoming series The Kangks Show, which marks her third collaboration with director-writer Antoinette Jadaone, after Beauty in a Bottle and That thing Called Tadhana in 2014. The show also stars JC and Maris.
Meanwhile, Loisa and Ronnie, who form the tandem "LoiNie", are set to topbill a new ABS-CBN series entitled Love In 40 Days. The project was announced last September and also involves Elisse.
The Goodbye Girl marks Elisse's return to acting since giving birth to her daughter Felize McKenzie with partner McCoy de Leon last April. It is also the first acting project of Maris and Rico since the musician couple confirmed their relationship early this year.
