Celebrity sisters Toni and Alex Gonzaga are reuniting on the big screen as stars of the 2021 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry The ExorSis.
First-look teasers for the comedy-horror film have been released by production outfit TinCan Films online, including the movie's official poster, which shows Toni on a bed, with a seemingly possessed Alex hovering above her, flashing a peace sign.
Another poster sees Toni smirking at the camera and pointing down to Alex, who, still portraying a possessed woman, appears as if she was about to put her hand around her neck while looking up at her sister.
On Instagram, both Toni and Alex invited their fans to support The ExorSis, which is their second project together after the 2018 MMFF entry Mary, Marry Me.
"Yehey! We made it to this year’s MMFF! See you sa Pasko!" said Toni.
"Mga sissss!! Deserve ninyong tumawa ng natatakot ngayong Pasko. Balik sine na tayo! Ito na #TheExorSis. December 25 sa mga sinehan!" wrote Alex.
The ExorSis is directed by former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Fifth Solomon. It also stars Melai Cantiveros, Dennis Padilla, Joel Saracho, Tess Antonio, Kat Galang, and Isay Alvarez.
The 2021 MMFF is returning to cinemas this coming December, after last year's edition was held online because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
