In his latest series Viral Scandal, Joshua Garcia said it took him a while to adjust to going back to face-to-face interaction on the set after more than a year of doing home quarantine because of the pandemic. The talented actor also revealed his most difficult acting scene in the series so far.

Nakakamangha lang,” he said.

The 24-year-old kapamilya actor said he had to work on getting comfortable again while working so as not to inconvenience his new leading lady Charlie Dizon during their lock-in taping.

Wala na yung wall before nung nagsisimula kami,” he recalled.

In Viral Scandal Joshua plays an architect named Kyle Constantino whose life changes dramatically when he crosses paths with a woman named Rica Sicat (played by Charlie) who is the subject of a scandalous viral video. In real life, Joshua said he has never experienced being subject to a scandal online.

“That’s the good thing about me, hindi ako mahilig mag social media so yun yung maganda din sa akin medyo aware din ako na alam ko na medyo wild yung social media, wild yung mga tao dun. But so far madami naman nag-va-viral na magandang news about me so far and I think grateful ako na ganun pa ang lumalabas sa akin,” he shared.

The Viral Scandal star said that even if he were to fall victim to intrigues online, he understands that it comes part of the territory of being an actor and showbiz personality and chooses to see the upside to the notoriety, even if it is not based on truth. “Especially sa work namin mga artists kami, parang dagdag hatak din ng manunuod sayo di ba?” he added.
