Night Cruz, the son of actress Ryza Cenon with her partner, cinematographer Miguel Antonio Cruz, has turned one.
On Instagram on Sunday, October 31, Ryza posted a video clip showing a montage of Night's photos, from when he was a newborn child to now that he is officially a toddler.
"To my dearest Night, happy 1st birthday! It's hard to believe that you're already a year old. Parang kailan lang nasa tummy ka ni mommy, but here we are celebrating your first birthday. Yey!!!!" she wrote in the caption.
At ikaw yun anak. You complete us and give us hope. We’re looking forward to seeing you grow up to become a good, responsible and adorable person. We love you sooooo much! Happy birthday!" she added.
Aside from Ryza, her partner also marked Night's first birthday on Instagram.
"It was exactly a year ago today when this little bundle of joy came into our lives. Welcome to toddlerhood son!! We love you!!" he said.
Ryza, 33, gave birth to Night, her first child, via normal delivery at the St. Luke's Medical Center on October 31, 2020.
She first confirmed her pregnancy in July that year.
In a previous interview, Ryza said she considers her son a blessing as there was a time that she had lost hope of ever having a child.
Kaya ko palang maging isang ina," she said.
She added: "'Yung feeling na nailabas mo siya.
The actress, who was last seen in the 2019 primetime series The General's Daughter, said she and her partner have no plans of having another baby.
When asked whether she and her partner talk about settling down, Ryza said: “Napag-usapan naman po kasi siya naman po willing naman po siya.”
So, ’yon po ’yong napag-usapan po namin,” she added.
