Xian Lim commends candidates of Miss World Philippines after 6-hour long coronation night

Xian Lim took to social media to express his gratitude to those who showed support for the recently concluded Miss World Philippines coronation night which he hosted recently. 

"To all the pageant fans, thank you for the love and support," he said on Twitter.  

The pageant became a hot topic on social media after it ran from the evening of October 3 until the early hours of October 4 as the event encountered technical difficulties and issues with the program flow. 


 

 

The actor and host commended the hard work that the candidates showcased during the pageant.

"Being up on stage for more than 10 hours plus countless days of rehearsals for the candidates can really take a toll on their stamina," he said.

"All the candidates gave it their best shot and that is what's important.  Yes, It took a while for the pageant to finish but this is the fruit of their hard work and dedication.

 

 

"Thank you pageant fans for sticking around ❤️💪Congratulations to all the winners," he added.

"Thank you to all the pageant fans who tuned in last night. It was a long stretch but this truly shows the passion and dedication the Miss World candidates have for their craft," he wrote.

Cebu representative Tracy Maureen Perez was crowned as Miss World Philippines 2021.

She will be representing the Philippines in the 70th Miss World pageant in Puerto Rico in December.
