Arci Munoz has received a special award from the Philippine Air Force.
On Instagram, the Kapamilya actress shared a photo of her Special Recognition Award as she thanked the PAF for the accolade.
"THERE IS NO LIMIT TO WHAT WE, AS WOMEN, CAN ACCOMPLISH. To the Philippine Air Force, thank you so much for this recognition. Truly I am blessed and It is an Honor to serve," wrote Arci.
Based on the photo, Arci, whose real name is Ramona Cecilia Munoz, was granted the award last Thursday, September 30, on the occasion of PAF Reservists' Recognition Day.
She was recognized for her "active participation in the different PAF relief operations and during the conduct of fundraising activity dubbed as 'PAF Musicale.'" To recall, in December 2020, Arci joined a relief mission organized by the PAF to help the families affected by the rampage of typhoons Rolly and Ulysses in Catanduanes.
Moreover, Arci was credited for "strategically advocating PAF Reservists Program that created a positive impact in our society which immensely contributed on the overall mission accomplishment of the Philippine Air Force."
Arci became a sergeant of the PAF Reserve Command after completing the Basic Citizen Military Training last year.
She first revealed that she enlisted to be a reservist for the PAF in June 2020.
At the time, the actress encouraged her fellow women to join the Philippine military reserve force.
"Marami pong salamat sa aking Philippine Air Force family. Asahan nyo po ang aking buong pusong dedikasyon at serbisyo," she added.
Meanwhile, aside from Arci, fellow celebrities and PAF reservists JM de Guzman and Ejay Falcon were also recognized with the special award in September.
Arci, 32, was last seen in the ABS-CBN series Walang Hanggang Paalam, which concluded in April.
Recently, it was announced that the actress is running for councilor in Cainta, Rizal in the 2022 elections. She is part of the slate of PBA great Alvin Patrimonio who is seeking a mayoral post in the municipality.
