After working on the series, The Killer Bride last year, Joshua Garcia returns to teleseryes with his latest family drama Viral Scandal where he gets paired with new leading lady Charlie Dizon whom he first met previously when they did a commercial together for a local telecom company. Joshua said he was impressed while doing their scenes together in Viral Scandal.

“Wala akong masabi kay Charlie, napakagaling at napakaganda. Wala akong masabi napakagaling niya and nagagawa niya yung trabaho niya. Okay siya behind the camera, okay siya maging kaibigan, okay siya maging pamilya,” he said.

In previous interviews, Joshua said he prepared hard for his new role even before they went into lock-in taping. “Actually nahirapan ako kay Charlie. Magaling eh (laughs). I think ang sikreto rin para maging successful yung isang show is to support each other. So yun lang yung ginagawa ko. Sinusuportahan ko si Charlie pag ka-eksena siya and so far naman nag-wo-work naman,” he shared.

Sharing which scene was most difficult for him to do, Joshua recalled one physically and emotionally challenging moment during their taping.

Sobrang excited lang ako gawin yung project,” he recalled.

In the series, the issue of online scandals are brought up when Charlie Dizon’s role becomes the victim of a malicious viral video. Joshua said he is not the type to be part of cancel culture.

“Iba iba kasi yung tao eh.

Giving advice to his fans about being victimized, Joshua saidpeople should really watch out who they should trust online.
