Fil-Am singer Vaughn Mugol has ended his journey on the reality singing show The Voice.
In an Instagram post, Vaughn thanked everyone who supported him throughout his journey on the competition.
He wrote: “THAT WAS A BLAST! I just wanted to take this time and say THANK YOU for everyone that supported me on my journey here on The Voice! Short but sweet.”
Vaughn, a nurse, said it’s an honor to represent his colleagues in the field as well as his fellow Filipinos.
“It has been a great honor to represent my fellow Filipino and nurses up on The Voice stage,” he said.
Considering his stint as a life-changing moment, Vaughn said he didn’t expect to experience everything that happened to him this year.
He said: “I honestly didn’t expect for all of this to happen this year. Truly a life changing moment. And yes, this is only the beginning so stick around!”
Vaughn then thanked his coach, popstar Ariana Grande, for believing in him.
“To my coach @arianagrande, THANK YOU for pressing that button for me. You opened up my eyes and showed me that I can actually do something big with my voice,” he stated.
He added: “I have always doubted myself, but you believed in me and have been soooo supportive!! I’ll be rooting for #TeamAriana back home. YOU GOT THIS COACH!”
