Singers Ogie Alcasid and Ian Veneracion, will push through with their joint concert, "KilaboTitos," which was postponed last March amid the coronavirus pandemic.
On their respective Instagram pages, the two Kapamilya stars posted a promotional image for the concert, which will now take place virtually as the pandemic continues to ban mass gatherings to curb the spread of the virus.
"Virtually yours, KilaboTitots. Malapit na!" it said in the poster.
Ogie and Ian were originally scheduled to hold their joint concert on March 20 and 21, 2020 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao in Quezon City.
Their decision to postpone the show came after the number of people who tested positive for the coronavirus in the country rose to six. Currently, there are 482,083 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines, with 23,675 active cases, 449,052 recoveries, 9,356 deaths.
In his post about the postponement, Ogie told his fans: "Let us all be careful and take extra precaution. Most importantly, let us keep praying. Thank you dear friends."
"KilaboTitos" marks the first time that Ogie and Ian will headline one together — although they have previously collaborated on the latter's “Ian in Color” concert, with the former and his wife Regine Velasquez acting as its producers.
Ticket details for the rescheduled concert have yet to be announced.
