It was in early 2019 when Enrique and Liza confirmed being in a romantic relationship, ending years of speculation on the real score between them. At the time, they had been together for more than four years.

The pair, or "LizQuen”, as their onscreen tandem is known to their fans, first worked together in 2013 in the film Must... Be Love, topbilled by their fellow Star Magic talents Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. In the same year, they joined Bea Alonzo and Dingdong Dantes in the movie She's The One

Enrique and Liza starred in their first primetime series, Forevermore the following year. This was followed by Dolce Amore in 2016, Bagani in 2018, and Make It With You in 2020.

On the big screen, the couple co-starred in films Just The Way You Are, Everyday I Love You, My Ex and Whys, and Alone/Together.
