It's been a year since Kathryn Bernardo made her first foray into vlogging.

Over the weekend, the Kapamilya actress commemorated the anniversary of her YouTube channel, Everyday Kath, by posting a photo of herself at the beach.

In the caption, she simply wrote: "Happy 1st anniv, #EverydayKath!"

Kathryn launched her channel on January 3, 2020. Since then, she has garnered over 2.64 million subscribers on the popular video-streaming site.

According to the actress, she created Everyday Kath to share a glimpse of her everyday life, "especially the not-so-glamorous part that you don’t always get to see on TV."

"No script, no fuss, no pretense. Just me. Just your average Everyday Kath," she said.

Her first vlog, uploaded just two days later, featured snippets of her trip to Iceland with her onscreen partner and real-life boyfriend Daniel Padilla.

Kathryn joined the growing list of celebrities who have also dabbled into vlogging, such as her contemporaries Liza Soberano and Julia Barretto, as well as her fellow stars Vice Ganda, Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga, Maja Salvador, and Kim Chiu.

Kathryn, 24, currently stars in the movie series The House Arrest of Us with Daniel.

The show is about two individuals who are forced to live under the same roof by the lockdown, together with their respective families.

Directed by Richard Ibasco Arellano, The House Arrest of Us also stars Ruffa Gutierrez, Herbert Bautista, Arlene Muhlach, Dennis Padilla, Gardo Versoza, Alora Sasam, and Riva Quenery.

The series premiered last October on KTX and on iWant-TFC. It will run until January 16, 2021.
