After signing up with independent record label OC records last September, vlogger Mimiyuuuh said he was happy to collaborate with Kean Cipriano on his track “DYWB (Drink Your Water Bitch).”

Sobrang happy ako to be collaborating and working with OC Records kasi sobrang open talaga nila to a lot of suggestions and at the same time mas nire-respect nila yung vision mo. Super happy ako to be part of OC. Pero pag itong song na ‘to narinig ko sa radyo, I’ll be like, ‘Damn, that’s my track!’ Ganun po ako so parang proud talaga ako sa track na yun,” he shared during the OC Records media conference held last January 27.

Mimiyuuuh, whose real name is Jeremy Sancebuche, shared how hard it was for him to learn how to record the track in the safety of his own home.

Sobrang collaborative. I love it. Ganun pala to be surrounded with creative people, parang ang sarap talaga sa feeling. Na-guide naman nila ako,” he recalled.

Compared to producing his highly successful vlogs that almost always go viral, Mimiyuuuh said singing was a totally different experience.

Parang sobrang refreshing kasi parang na-e-express ko yung creativity ko in a lot of ways like singing, making tracks, making lyrics, and at the same time nag-ba-vlog. And parang I really don’t underestimate myself. Dapat never mo i-underestimate yourself. Atsaka nakaka-proud din to be working with these guys na talagang bihasa sa industry,” he said.

Ang nakakatuwa sa OC Records they don’t really pressure me. We’ll never know,” he added.
