As one of the most popular YouTubers in the country, Mimiyuuuh has made his mark on and off social media with his entertaining vlogs and hilarious posts. The 24-year-old influencer said he had no hesitation signing up with Kean Cipriano’s independent record label OC Records because he is very goal-oriented.

Parang I never stop learning. So parang may mga bagay na right now pumapatok kasi very Mimi. Pero ako I don’t settle for less. Parang I want more. I want to grow pa so I think let’s see in the future baka umiyak iyak na ako hindi na ako nagpapatawa (laughs). Pero I never settle for less. Parang let’s make more creative and fun vlogs,” he shared during the OC Records virtual media con held last January 27.

Despite his success which includes numerous endorsements, Mimiyuuuh said he really only splurges on one thing which he shares with his family.

A self-confessed hip-hop fan, it’s no surprise that the “DYWB (Drink Your Water Bitch)” singer would choose local rap artists as his dream collaborations in the future.

Ako kasi sobrang fan ako ng OPM hip-hop so parang okay ako with si sir Shanti Dope, sila Mr. Gloc-9 because yun talaga yung pinapakinggan kong music. Sila rin right now medyo na-inspire nila yung track ko. So I think hip-hop rap, ganun siguro. Pero huwag niyo akong i-ba-bash (laughs),” he said.

Having millions of fans on social media, Mimiyuuuh hopes to inspire his followers to not afraid to be original.

“Just be you. Yung mga critics naman diyan, hindi naman talaga mawawala so may mga critics na negative and may mga critics na positive and ikaw na ang bahala kung saan ka mag-fo-focus. Eh kung mag-fo-focus ka sa mga negativity parang it will just hinder you from creating what you really want. So focus on yourself. Focus on sa mga positive comments and all and just be you. I-unleash mo yung mga creativity mo and ang music kasi di ba it’s an art. So ang mahalaga, dapat ma-a-ppreciate mo muna yung sarili mong art bago ma-appreciate ng ibang tao,” he explains.
