Netizens criticized Raymond Gutierrez after a restaurant located in Bonifacio Global City allegedly closed down due to a party he threw for his friends on his birthday.
The 37-year-old TV host and influencer, who marked his 37th birthday last January 21 at a Spanish resto called La Picara in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, allegedly violated quarantine protocols during the party. As a result, the resto was allegedly forced to shut down.
This prompted netizens to call out Raymond as the shut down of the resto would not only affect the establishment but also result in its employees losing their jobs.
But some netizens think the blame should not be put solely on Raymond as they believe the resto should have taken more responsibility.
In the photos making rounds online, Raymond can be seen surrounded by individuals.
The caption in the photo said: ““Happy birthday, @mond." It also stated, “Note: Everyone was PCR Tested!”
