Vice Ganda — one of ABS-CBN’s biggest stars — expressed his utmost support for the embattled media giant as it faces one of its darkest hours, giving an assurance that he would never leave the Kapamilya network no matter what.

During the episode of It’s Showtime which aired last Saturday, January 18, the 44-year-old comedian admitted that he might never be able to deal with the circumstance should the noontime show be forced to go off the air.

“For me, no. Hindi ko talaga keri.

The It’s Showtime host recalled the days where AlDub became a massive hit but ABS-CBN fought for It’s Showtime through and through to make sure the show remains on the air.

He then went on to share how he kept thinking if It’s Showtime was still relevant during that time.

Vice also admitted that he already accepted the fact that the network would cancel the show.

But just when he thought it was over for him and everyone else on the show, Vice found hope and shared how ABS-CBN fought for It’s Showtime through and through.

Tapos sasabihin, ‘We are cancelling the show,’” he said.

He added: “Tanggap ko ‘yun. Tapos, hindi nangyari. Hindi ginawa ng ABS-CBN. Hindi ako nilaglag. Hindi nilaglag yung show.”

That said, Vice promised never to leave the network at a time when it needs him.

“’Yun ang pinanghahawakan ko eh. Magkamatayan na. Hindi ko iiwanan itong ABS-CBN ngayon. Kasi nu’ng nangyari ito sa buhay ko, hindi ako iniwanan ng ABS eh,” he said.
