Pia Wurtzbach has a newfound appreciation for handmade glass after trying glassblowing for the first time.

On Instagram, the beauty queen-actress shared videos of herself trying glassblowing—or the practice of shaping a mass of glass that has been softened by heat by blowing air into it through a tube—at a luxury resort on an island in the Maldives.

"Tried glassblowing for the first time and I loved it," she said.

She also shared photos of the glassware she and her boyfriend, Jeremy Jauncey, made from glassblowing.

"The green one is mine, the clear one is @jeremyjauncey and I had some extra time to make a paperweight using the colors of the year (if you look closely)," she said.

Pia and Jeremy, a US-based entrepreneur, ushered in the New Year in the Maldives.

The couple has been sharing photos and videos from their vacation on Instagram.

Pia, 31, and Jeremy, 34, celebrated their first anniversary together last December 31.

The couple officially confirmed their relationship in June 2020 by appearing on the cover of Tatler Philippines.
