As WeTV’s first original digital series offering this year, Section St. Valentine: The Disappearance of Divine brings together a cast of fresh and familiar faces led by Rise Artists Studio talent Arielle Roces who plays the role of popular high school student Divine Concepcion who goes missing at the start of the school year. She is joined by fellow young talents Royce Cabrera, Jem Macatuno, Aedel Peña, Raphael Robes , Polo Laurel, and Thamara Alexandria who all play high school classmates at the prestigious (and fictional) Manila International School.
The series, which premiered online last January 15, starts off with a school assembly online, which is disrupted when the high school principal gets put on the spot after being questioned by a unknown student. It is then revealed that the student is his own daughter Divine, who is also known for exposing controversies about different personalities on campus by posting it on her social media.
On the first day of their online classes, Divine disappears and it is up to her friends to figure out what happened to their classmate.
Section St. Valentine: The Disappearance of Divine is Arielle’s second major role after starring in the thriller You Have Arrived in 2019 and she makes her initial scenes memorable enough for viewers to care for disappearance after the premiere episode. The other young actors, whose characters still have yet to be fully introduced, show enough promise to compel viewers to join their journey in solving the mystery throughout the series’ nine-episode run.
Section St.Valentine: The Disappearance of Divine was created by writer and director Philip King.
