I think you all know how much it meant to me. I hope you understand. I will always wish him and his family well," she said in a statement.</p><p>Meanwhile, in his statement announcing the sad news, Derek stressed that there was no third party involved in the split.</p><p>"The breakup has happened so fast. Maybe two people are just not meant to be. Please respect us na lang. We shared our love to all of you, sana naman we can keep this to ourselves," he said.</p><p>Derek and Andrea, who co-starred in a primetime series, first confirmed their relationship to the public in September last year.</p>
