For the first time, actress Maxene Magalona and husband Rob Mananquil shared their prenup video as they marked their third anniversary as a married couple.

The two tied the knot in a beach wedding in Boracay on January 11, 2018, less than a year after they got engaged in Japan.

"In honor of our third wedding anniversary, we’re posting our prenup video which we only shared with our guests at our reception," said Maxene in her Instagram post.

"Every time I watch this, it brings happy tears to my eyes and makes my heart beam with pride as I know how my husband pours his soul into each and every one of his songs," she said of the video, which featured an instrumental track by her husband, entitled "Gunita."

"'Gunita' which means ‘memory’ or ‘reminiscence,’ is definitely my favorite because its melody sounds like a representation of our love —high-strung and intense yet dreamy and harmonious. A kaleidoscopic balance between the light and the dark," she added.

Addressing her husband, Maxene said: "Ours is not the perfect marriage and I know we still have a long way ahead of us but there’s no one I’d rather go on this journey with than you, @robmananquil. You’re the only song my soul longs to hear. I love you. Happy 3rd wedding anniversary!"

Meanwhile, Rob, in his anniversary message for Maxene, recalled the first time they met.

"It was 6 years ago when I first met @maxenemagalona. She was into parties, night outs and eating meat while I was into yoga, meditation, and have stopped eating meat for 10 years already and was transitioning into becoming vegetarian/vegan. We were on totally opposite sides of the boat, but the moment our eyes touched contact, it was a luminous gaze, tears just fell down like rain and we knew our meeting was a meeting of faith. As if the stars and planets were aligned and we knew to have one another was a blessing and a gift," he said.

He went on: "Despite our huge difference in lifestyle, we chose to make it work, we choose each other daily, constantly, momentarily—it’s a continuous commitment to your partner and to yourself. Every day, Max and I deepen our understanding of what it means to love one another unconditionally. Of course with love comes understanding, and within the first year of being a couple, instead of her joining my veg, yoga and meditation life, it was the other way around; I became her partner in all the parties, events, drinks, and suddenly was eating meat again.

"Love has its ways. But when you find someone who’s willing to do the WORK with you to make the relationship the BEST it can be—truly invest in them. Give effort and time to connect, and have the patience for them to connect to your lifestyle as well. Thankfully, after 4 years of hard work, dedication & commitment, thankfully she joined me in ALL my YOGA, MEDITATION and VEGAN food. It’s been one of the most transformative and rewarding of journeys. It doesn’t always come easy, but those four years of work and patience was worth it," he added.

Declaring his love for his wife, the musician said: "I love you @maxenemagalona. Thank you for allowing yourself to open up to my world of yoga, meditation and vegan food. I know it’s not the norm for most males out there, & I am forever grateful for you accepting my invitation to give them a try. I choose you everyday & always. Thank you for always being at my side."

Just last July, Maxene and Rob celebrated their fifth anniversary together as a couple.
