Actress-host Kris Aquino and former Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista took turns answering personal questions in a video released Sunday, January 10, titled "He Said, She Said."
Presented by Cornerstone Entertainment Inc., the seven-minute clip sees Kris and Herbert share their thoughts on love and second chances in relationships.
"I didn't believe my mom before but now I do," said Kris, referring to the late former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino. "She always said that for it to be love, it has to bring out the best in you. Love should make you want to be a better person, and you should want that person to shine."
"Love is sacrifice. You have to give most of yourself to the person you love," Herbert, for his part, answered. To which, Kris added: "It shouldn't feel like sacrifice... Because love mo, it doesn't feel like you're sacrificing anything. It just flows."
They also described their perfect date, and shared some of the lessons they learned from their past relationships.
"[My past relationship taught me] not to get into relationships again," said Kris.
"Ako inaamin ko, the career path I chose is very selfish. I understand now kung bakit they all ended up hating me," she added.
"Ako natutunan ko maging patient, maging quiet. Magsalita lang 'pag kailangan, para walang away," answered Herbert, in jest.
Aside from questions about love, Kris and Herbert were also asked whether they would rather be known for their intelligence or looks.
Ultimately, the two answered how important success is for them.
