After marrying businessman Paolo Valderrama in 2016, actress and singer Cris Villonco has enjoyed a relatively low-key relationship with her non-showbiz beau. The 37-year-old artist, who was last seen in the iWant digital film U-Turn earlier this year recently revealed that she and her husband are currently working on having a baby through in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
On her Instagram account last December 29, Cris reached out to other women going through the same journey and encouraged them to have faith.
“2020... the year of hope.
“I cannot recall and count how many clinics, visits, bloodwork, ultrasounds and procedures we have gone through to get pregnant.
“As early as now, my list of hopes and dreams will still continue to eat away the anger and hurt. It’s hard to wait around for something you know might never happen. It’s even hard to know when it’s everything you want. I used to find it silly when I read this phrase on IVF Support Groups... but I now absolutely understand. To you... who feels like giving up. Don’t. I pray and shower you with ... Baby Dust. 2021... bahala ka na.”
Cris is the granddaughter of the feisty film artist and producer Armida Siguion-Reyna and niece to director Carlitos Siguion-Reyna. She married businessman Paolo Valderrama in 2016.
