As she celebrated another year in her life, Serena's friends in Philippine showbiz greeted her.

"Hey you! Happy Birthday," Carlo Aquino wrote on her Instagram post.

"Happy birthday my forever baby girl!" Camille Prats posted.

“Marami akong reasons for leaving showbiz and Philippines. One of the biggest reasons was during the time na wala ako masyadong projects, and I realized na I can’t rely on just my acting career I need a back-up plan, eventually my back-up plan became my priority. I chose studies over acting,” she stated.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Serena now works for the company Intuit as a staff business data analyst.
