After baby Dahlia Heussaff celebrated her sixth month birthday earlier this month, her parents Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff also celebrated their first Australian Father’s Day last September 6 in the city of Melbourne where they have been staying along with Anne’s family after leaving the country last December. The couple also decided to stay there indefinitely with the current pandemic situation.

Unlike the majority of the world which celebrates Father’s Day in June, Australia’s official Father’s day is held every September 6. To commemorate her husband’s first Father’s day in Australia, Anne posted a photo on her Instagram account of Erwan and baby Dahlia in similar poses while eating a banana. She wrote, “We celebrate having you in our lives not just on Father’s Day but every. single. day. Thank you for being an amazing partner and an even more amazing papa to our little one. We love you @erwan. Happy Father’s Day   Naaaks this year, you get to celebrate twice..

P.S - I guess it’s safe to say that I love you more- Why? Well, our firstborn looks exactly like you, My Mum told me ganun daw yun.  ”

In the same post, Anne also greeted all the fathers, biological and otherwise, in the world. She added, “Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads, Grandfathers and Father Figures on this side of the world! Big hugs and kisses  ”
