After sharing an update earlier this month on the construction of the house she is planning to move into once she and her family return to the country, Rufa Mae Quinto gave another update on how life is in San Francisco, California where she is currently staying along  with her husband Trevor Magallanes and daughter Alexandria.

Earlier this week, a record-breaking heat wave hit the Bay area where Rufa Mae and her family are staying. With temperatures hitting 100 degrees for the first time since 2017, the heat wave also sparked widespread wildfires in affected areas. The 42-year-old comedienne shared video clips of the view from her home which showed a dark sunrise. She wrote, “Ganito na ang sunrise sa Bay Area. Heat wave to wildfire Eto ang ending , dark orange sunrise no sunshine  ️”

In another post, Rufa Mae showed the continuous dark view of their skyline at noon. “Kasalukuyang 12:00 pm dito. Tanghaling tapat sa San Francisco pero ito po ang labas namin... nakaka shock man, Kailangan, maging strong, keep calm and carry on! Bay bridge. Nagulat ako pag gising ko kala ko pa sunrise palang .. tapos Isip Isip lobo na ba?  char! Ayun pala, ganyan ang kapaligiran kasi may wildfire dahil may heatwave ang long weekend Labor Day dito. Sa sobrang init, madaming nasusunog ang fields, forest, grass, btrees mountains . Lahat ng taga dito sabi, first time it happened ever in this lifetime. Anyways, keep safe guys,” she wrote.
