Catriona Gray took to social media to extend her gratitude to everyone who supported the free mask campaign dubbed as Mask4AllPH .
According to the beauty queen, the said initiative has already raised Php 1.15 million and they were able to pay the wages of their 71 women seamstresses. Aside from that, the initiative has already produced more than 19,000 face masks for the vulnerable sectors of the community.
"But we still need your support to continue to broaden our reach and help provide more jobs and free face masks to the community! Please visit www.mask4allPH.com for more info and also info on how to donate! Thank you!!! Stay Safe!" Catriona posted on her Facebook page on September 8.
It was in August when Catriona announced her partnership with Bayanihan Musikahan for the #Mas4AllPH project.
So excited to be partnering up with Bayanihan Musikahan's #Mask4AllPH: a livlihood project that provides both jobs and face masks to the most vulnerable sectors of our community. FREE face masks: made BY the community, FOR the community. 💙❤💛 But we need your help! Help us spark change by sending in your pledges through the link down below: www.mask4AllPH.com 🙏 Wear a mask. Protect yourselves. Protect others. 🇵🇭 #BayanihanMusikahan #TaumbayanToTheRescue
“It is truly inspiring to see how Filipinos rise up to the occasion by working together in creating something essential with such passion and ingenuity. This project does not only provide free masks to those who need them most, but also, livelihood to communities that are truly affected by our current situation,” Catriona said about the initiative in an article published on the website of Mask4AllPH.
