It was just last month when it was reported that some fan pages of Kapamilya star Angel Locsin received offers to sell their accounts, and now the Kapamilya actress appears to have another online dilemma.
On Thursday, August 6, Angel took to her Instagram stories to share that she has been receiving hacking attempts in her social media accounts. “Someone's trying to repeatedly hack my Twitter, Facebook, & email," she wrote over a screenshot of one of her online accounts being temporarily locked.
With 8 million followers on Instagram and 15 million on Facebook, Angel Locsin is one of the celebrities who are vocal about their stand on social issues. Recently, she acknowledged the medical frontliners, after the latter plead for a “timeout” as the COVID-19 cases in the country continue to grow in numbers.
Likewise, she was also a visible figure in ABS-CBN’s fight for franchise renewal, speaking up bravely on social media and rallies.
A philanthropist as well, Angel is usually seen in the forefront whenever a disaster or calamity strikes. As such, among her charitable initiatives to help her countrymen against the COVID-19 pandemic included the fundraising campaign “Shop and Share,” which she launched together with other celebrities, aiming to provide testing kits to Filipinos.
