"A very sad day."
This was how Gretchen Fullido described the last day of work for many of her colleagues and friends at ABS-CBN, who were retrenched after ABS-CBN was denied a new franchise.
Numerous Kapamilya programs bid goodbye this month including her show Chismax on DZMM.
"I’m super going to miss all our loyal CHISMAKERS!" she said.
The television reporter shared that she has been feeling a lot of mixed emotions lately amid the crisis that the media giant is facing.
"Everyday when I drive to work for TV Patrol (took this photo while in the car) I get mixed emotions. I get flashbacks of happy memories, challenging experiences and lahat lahat na over the course of 16 years of me working in the company. This is the first and only company I worked for while still in college in UP Diliman (I was a working student)," she stated.
She remarked that it is an honor to work with her colleagues at ABS-CBN.

"Thank you dearest Kapamilyas. I can’t put into words the pain and sadness that’s going on for all of us in the network... but I am hopeful that better things are ahead for all of us. It was an honor and privilege working with you all. Maraming salamat Kapamilya," she said.
Gretchen will still be part of TV Patrol on weekdays, which streams on TV Patrol’s FB live, Kapamilya Channel, @iwantofficial, TFC, YouTube, and ABS-CBN online.
