Bangs Garcia shared her experience giving birth to her second child in London amid the coronavirus pandemic in her newest vlog.
In the video uploaded on her YouTube channel on Saturday, August 1, the former actress shared how she prepared for the coming of her baby girl Isabella.
“I’m glad the long wait is finally over. I’m having a C-section. It’s a planned C-section, ‘coz last time I had an emergency C-section and we didn’t want to take that risk anymore,” she explained.
“Before I decided to have a C-Section, I was actually leaning towards having a VBAC, a vaginal birth after having C-section,” she went on. “Kasi may mga nakausap ako na nag-C-section during their first one, their first child, and then they had a natural birth on their second pregnancy. There’s a possibility na mas magiging successful ‘yung natural birth during the second pregnancy.
“But my husband and I talked about it and decided to just be relaxed this time since we had a very stressful experience in 2017. It’s not yet three years since the last time I’ve given birth, so there’s a tendency that my wound would still open up, and might just end up having an emergency C-section again. So, might as well just plan it.”
Bangs gave birth to Isabella via an “Elective C-section”, as they call it in London, at 9:30 a.m. last July 21.
Bangs and her Filipino-British husband Lloyd Birchmore already have a daughter named Amelia, who was born in December 2017.
The couple married in 2016.
