To tell you a short story I grew up in a family where all of us should learn how to cook at least 3 viands upon reaching the 3rd grade. That’s Mother’s rule (She learned cooking frm my Pop) and we should know how to wash our own clothes on our 6th grade. True enough these things I learned from Her helped me when I started my college Dormitory, but thats another story. To continue my pancit journey, my 3rd grade menu started with Menudo, Dinuguan, Pancit, and a bonus of Pinangat na Bunod (small River fish which I usually catch on weekends in the river near my Family’s Coco Plantation). I LOVE FISHING then. After college I forgot ALL the Dishes I’ve learned until now except for the Pancit and Pangat. I swear they were the EASIEST I should brag, but since I could already hire someone to cook for me COOKING just became a childhood story. In fact NO ONE believed that I know how to cook. One day while I was enjoying my Steak, I got so bothered with the extinction of a Lot of animal species and the cruelty these circus animals are suffering from their hosts. I love animals. There was never a time that our family did not own cats, a dog or three. My first pet was a Hen. My concern with the cruelty and extinction on animals escalated but I cant do anything about it, I was so helpless and I promised myself that I will give up eating my favorite steak if that can contribute to this cruel fate of the other Earthlings. When I said that, it just happened right on that very minute. I did not train myself to be a vegetarian or something. But it just happened right away. I turned into a vegan unintentionally and I loved the result in my Health and in my conscience. Then the food sourcing started and it was not difficult for me because I also grew up in a family who loves vegetables. I started to mix and match my own. Then I saw this KOREAN RICE NOODLES and I remembered I know how to cook pancit! I gathered all the possible ingredients that a pancit lover will look for and JasJapChae happened. <p>As one of the most talented character actors in the country, John Arcilla can already boast of an impressive body of work and acting awards long before he played the role of national hero Antonio Luna in the historical film <em>Heneral Luna</em> in 2015. John first showed interest in acting when he was just seven years old and he started acting in theater in high school. The 54-year-old actor, who is currently part of the primetime series <em><a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/angprobinsyano'><strong><u>FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano</u></strong></a>,</em> already has three decades’ worth of experience in the entertainment industry. <p>Last August 25, John shared another interesting fact about his personality online.
