When Nikko Natividad came forward to tell his story about getting scammed in an investment scheme amounting to four million pesos, a lot of people sympathized with him. But there were also those who seemed to have felt skeptical about whether he is telling the truth or not.

Among those who criticized him on social media was publicist Dominic Rea who belied his claims, saying the Hashtags member would never earn such amount of money regardless of whatever projects come his way considering his talent fee as an actor and a dancer.

He wrote: “Na-scam daw si Nikko Natividad ng 4 million pesos! Wow! Saan galing ang 4 million pesos niya? Kahit siguro sa isang taon na raraket siya ng out of town shows ay hindi siya makakabuo ng ganoong halaga! Magkano ba talent fee niya sa bawat pelikulang niya na? Magkano ba talent fee niya sa bawat pagsayaw niya sa entablado ng It’s Showtime araw-araw? Wow! Daming pera ni Nikko. Pahiram naman beh!”

Nikko, who shared a screenshot of Dominic’s Facebook post, took to Twitter to lambast his “Sa inyo po galing customer nyo ako dati dib a? Malakas kayo magbigay ng bonus.”

The 24-year-old It’s Showtime host indirectly addressed Dominic in another tweet and said the money that he worked hard juggling business and showbiz for the money he lost.

“Lahat ng pera ko pinaghirapan ko. 5yrs kong pinaghirapan sa showbiz at pag nenegosyo. Kaya hindi imposible yun. Kung di ka makapaniwala isip ka nalang ng blind item tutal dun ka kumikita sa paninirang puri,” he stated.

Going into details, Nikko said the money he earned came from his commitments with TV shows such as Umagang Kay Ganda and It’s Showtime and accepts small roles in both film and television.

“Sa mga nagtataka pa, para isahan nalang. Gumigising ako madaling araw para mag @ukg tapos deretcho @itsShowtimeNa tapos tatanggap ako teleserye kahet wala akong linya basta magkatrabaho ako. Tapos sideline sa mga pelikula kahit small role wala ako pakialam basta kumita,” he said.

He added that he even do shows in fiestas across different parts of the country as well as selling food products, bed sheets, and sandals in and outside of ABS-CBN and does YouTube vlogging to add money to his income.

“Sinusuyod ko mga fiesta mall show bday sa buong pilipinas para rumaket. Nagtitinda ako grahams sa abs at sa labas. Bedsheet, sandals at YouTube. Ngayon pag nagduda pa kayo may MALI na sainyo,” he said.

Nikko Natividad revealed he was one of the victims of alleged invest scammer Shagoptha “Sha” Punzalan who lured him into investing money in a scam. He shared that he was promised a 20% return of investment but it never materialized.
