Alex Gonzaga's newest movie Love the Way U Lie made it to number 1 on Neflix's trending list in the Philippines. In her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to those who watched the film on the video streaming platform.
"Praise God!!! After debuting yesterday we are now #1 trending on Netflix PH today!!! Napakasaya ng puso namin at ibinigay niyo po ang 1 hr 30 mins ng inyong oras para manood sa amin!!" she posted.
She also extended her congratulations to the team behind the movie.
The actress said, "Congrats to the whole team lalo na kay Direk RC and of course kay Sarah and Nathan ng buhay ni Stacey! #LovetheWayULieOnNetflix."
Aside from Alex, the movie also features Xian Lim and Kylie Verzosa.

Xian also took to social media to celebrate the success of the movie.
"This is really amazing guys! Thank you for allowing Nathan, Sarah and Stacey to touch your hearts! Malaking pasasalamat sa lahat ng staff involved sa pagbuo ng pelikula," he said.
The movie premiered on Netflix last August 20.
