Moira dela Torre gives away her first electric guitar

<p>After debuting her slimmer look earlier this year, singer Moira dela Torre said she is currently looking after her mental health by learning new forms of arts and crafts. In a recent social media post, the 26-year-old artist revealed what has helped keep her mentally healthy these past few months during the pandemic.</p><p>She wrote, “This season, I started learning how to balance helping others and taking care of my mental health. My cousin @jbear.a taught me a new craft over the summer: watercolor painting-- a craft I had been meaning to learn but never had the time for and it has been so therapeutic for me. She wrote, “At the height of everything that's been happening, I found myself at a crossroad of feeling like I haven't been able to give as much as I would want to and feeling anxiety rise from within me as 2020 threw us so many of its unwanted surprises.</p><p>“…I wanna share this new joy by giving away a bag I got from one of my travels filled with art supplies and this electric guitar (which might I add, was Jason's very first electric guitar!). Both of which have helped me so much mentally and I hope that it might also help you find the calm I did.♥️”</p><p>Aside from giving away a guitar and art materials, Moira reveals she also plans to sell some pre-loved items with the proceeds going to a good cause. She added, “All proceeds will go to <em>Silungan Ng Pag-asa</em>—a non profit organization who gives such amazing children in need of medical care a home while in treatment. She then joined the 2017 Himig Handog songwriting and music video competition with her interpretation of the Libertine Amistoso song "<em>Titibo-tibo</em>" where she won the grand prize. She became the country’s most streamed OPM artist in 2018 for her hit singles  "<em>Malaya</em>" and "<em>Tagpuan</em>.”

<p>After debuting her slimmer look earlier this year, singer Moira dela Torre said she is currently looking after her mental health by learning new forms of arts and crafts. In a recent social media post, the 26-year-old artist revealed what has helped keep her mentally healthy these past few months during the pandemic.<p>She wrote, “This season, I started learning how to balance helping others and taking care of my mental health. My cousin @jbear.a taught me a new craft over the summer: watercolor painting-- a craft I had been meaning to learn but never had the time for and it has been so therapeutic for me.
