Currently playing the role of reporter who reconnects with his ex-girlfriend (played by Julia Barretto) and their barkada online during the lockdown in the digital film Love Unlock: E-Numan which recently premiered on the Kapamilya Online Live channel, Joshua Garcia admitted that his and Julia’s roles are not that different from them in real life. Kasi yung pinaka-timeline nung story is kung ano yung nangyayari ngayon. Kaya may COVID na virus,” he shared.
During their shoot which was done virtually via Zoom in their own homes, Joshua said they did not always stick to the script since he and Julia are already comfortable with each other. “Ang adlib para mas mapaganda yung scene. First time kasi namin mag shoot sa Zoom so parang ang hirap kapain kung paano mapapaganda yung scene. Kamustahan lang,” he explained.
Joshua is not that active on social media and he has a very simple reason he doesn’t post as regularly as other celebrities.
Earlier this year, Joshua became one of the male Pinoy celebrities who reached 3M followers on Instagram. As of this writing, he has gained an additional 300,000 followers on the same platform. Ever since the ECQ, Joshua has been known to only post an average of one to three posts every month.
