Singer John Legend and his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, are expecting their third child.
Chrissy confirmed the news in an Instagram post on Friday, August 14, with a clip of her showing her baby bump.
The pregnancy rumors first surfaced after the pair appeared with their kids in the music video of John's new song "Wild", featuring Gary Clark Jr.
In the latter part of the video, John is seen embracing his wife from behind, as Chrissy cradles what appears to be her growing baby bump.
John and Chrissy, one of the most high-profile couples in Hollywood, first met on the set of his music video for his single "Stereo" in 2006. They dated for several years before tying the knot in Italy in 2013.
They have since welcomed a daughter, Luna, 4, and a son, Miles, 2, both of whom were conceived through in vitro fertilization.
In an interview with American fashion and lifestyle magazine Harper's Bazaar, Chrissy opened up about their experience with trying to get pregnant through fertility treatments.
"Ours didn’t work the first time, and it was devastating," she revealed. "You realize that a lot of it is luck, and you can’t blame things on yourself. It’s so easy to try to figure out what you might have done 'wrong' and do the opposite the next time.
"The first round I did IVF, when it didn’t work, I remember thinking, 'Oh, I was on my feet too much, and that’s why.' You just look for anything to blame, especially yourself. I think hearing stories is just really important. You realize there’s no right way to do it, or right way to react. I don’t know. There’s no right way to do IVF. You just have to keep hoping that it will happen," she said.
