Donita Nose has been discharged from the hospital after finally recovering from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The comedian shared the good news in a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 12.

"And I'm FREE! SALAMAT PO AMA!" she wrote.

Donita Nose went on to thank those who supported and prayed for her throughout her ordeal.

"Salamat sa lahat ng nag-pray, nag-malasakit at nagmahal, at nagbigay ng tulong. Gagawa ako ng video ng lahat ng taong papasalamatan ko," she said.

She also expressed her gratitude to all the healthcare workers who tirelessly attend to those like her who tested positive for COVID-19.

"Pero ito muna. SALAMAT sa lahat ng FRONTLINERS. Saksi ako sa hirap at pagmamahal niyo sa mga pasyente at trabaho niyo. SALUDO AKO SA INYONG LAHAT.

GOD BLESS US ALL! I LOVE YOU ALL.!" she added.

Donita Nose first revealed on July 27 that she tested positive for COVID-19, a day after being hospitalized due to pneumonia.

In an interview, she said she experienced serious COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever, diarrhea, headache, and difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.

"Nilagnat na ako ng one week," she said. "Tapos mga ilang araw, sumunod na 'yung pagtatae ko. Pero while having a fever, mayroon na rin akong konting headache, tapos inuubo ako. Parang nakita ko lahat 'yung mga symptoms ng COVID is parang nandoon siya.

“Nitong pang eighth day, in the morning, paggising ko, mayroon na akong kaunting hirap sa paghinga."

In a separate interview, Donita Nose said she plans to host an online show for the benefit of COVID-19 frontliners.

“''Pag gumaling na ako totally, gusto ko magkaroon ng parang live show ko sa Facebook man o kung saan para [gawing] tribute sa mga frontliner," she said.

“Tapos kung may magbibigay ng konting donation, ibibigay ko rin sa kanila kung paano in a way na makakatulong ako,” she added.

Donita Nose, 41, is the latest celebrity to be infected with COVID-19, after Christopher de Leon, Iza Calzado, Sylvia Sanchez, Niña Jose, and Michael V.
