South Korean stars Kim Bum, Lee Dong-wook, and Jo Bo-ah are part of the cast of the newest tvN fantasy drama Tale of the Nine Tailed.
In a fresh set of newly-released photos taken during a script reading, the cast gamely smiled in front of the camera
Lee Dong-wook — who isn’t new to doing fantasy-themed series — is set to take on the role of gumiho Yi Yeon.
Jo Bo-ah, on the other hand, will play the role of a producer who runs a TV show show about supernatural entities.
Meanwhile, Kim Bum — who is set to mark his return to television after four years — will play the role of a dangerous gumiho named Yi-Rang. He is Yi Yeon’s half-brother.
Tale of the Nine Tailed— an urban fantasy drama — follows the story of a male gumiho (mythical nine-tailed fox) living in the city and an undaunted showrunner who is eager to chase after him.
Lee Dong-wook previously played Grim Reaper / Wang Yeo / Kim Woo Bin in Guardian: The Lonely and the Great God (Goblin) which aired on ABS-CBN.
Jo Bo-ah recently worked with Park Hae-jin for a drama called Forest which shot scenes in Manila.
Kim Bum, who rose to prominence for his role in Boys Over Flowers last did the South Korean drama Mrs. Cop 2.
Directed by Kang Shin-hyo, other cast members of the upcoming series include Kim Yong-ji, Hwang Hee, Kim Jung-nan, and Ahn Kil Kang.
